N.Y.C. New York Color proudly participates in The Look Good…Feel Better
program with generous annual product donations. Look Good…Feel Better
is a charitable organization established by the Cosmetic,
Toiletry, and Fragrance Association (CTFA) which reaches out to women facing
the challenge of cancer. Special workshops provide beauty care advice and
techniques to help minimize the visible effects of certain cancer treatments.
When women look and feel good about themselves, they have greater confidence
and more positive self-esteem.
The American Cancer Society (ACS) provides a
vital national network to assist women seeking information and access to the
program. The National Cosmetology Association (NCA) encourages
its member cosmetologists to volunteer their services. Today, LGFB group programs
are held in every state, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
