If you find the color in the tube doesn't look quite the same on your lips, try using a dab of foundation on your lips first. It will give a neutral base color that will allow the lipstick's true color to show and it will last longer!

Summer is the best time for juicy, vibrant lips! You don't have to abandon all color, just sheerer versions such as a bright colored gloss. For longer staying power, pair with a matching lip pencil. Fill in lips with the pencil and push the color into lips to difuse it for a sheer stain. Top with a fun bright shade of gloss, such as fucshia or coral--your pout will have a nice dose of color without being too sticky.

Have a favorite lipstick color but dont want to lay it on heavy?...use it as a lip stain. Apply a clear balm to your lips for moisture and then pat on your favorite lipstick with your fingertip, lightly pressing it into your lips. This will allow your lips to look naturally flushed with your favorite shade, and does not require that extra step of lining them.
