	Star Style Essay Contest Winner N.Y.C. New York Color and STAR Magazine invited N.Y.C. New York Color consumers to tell us why they or someone they knew deserved the Star Style treatment. Barbara Goldstein from New York was chosen as the winner from thousands of entries. Barbara won a day of beauty at the Warren-Tricomi salon in New York City, a tour of the Star Magazine Offices, lunch with Beauty and Fashion Director Tara Kraft, and spending money. Five runners up received a fabulous gift bag of N.Y.C. New York Color cosmetics worth $75.00! Seventeen’s March 2007 issue announced the contest, which required readers to submit a short essay explaining why they deserved the prom makeover. Samantha of Downey, California was chosen as the winner from thousands of entries. N.Y.C. New York Color and Seventeen hosted Samantha and 25 of her friends at the prestigious Warren Tricomi Salon on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood. Throughout the day all 26 girls were styled and pampered by N.Y.C. New York Color’s expert makeup artists and Warren Tricomi’s stylists to the stars.
